Chess Guideline Step by Step

Setup chess pieces the right way on the chessboard

During the chess game, the player has to choose either a light or dark colour.

In just 5 easy steps we can set up the chess pieces correctly on the chessboard. Below are the steps.

Step 1)

Rooks should be placed on the left and right corner of the first line of the chessboard on the player’s side.

Step 2)

The two knights should be placed on the sides of the two rooks.

Step 3)

The bishop should be placed next to the knight.

Step 4)

On the same line where the two squares are empty, the King and Queen have to be placed. Here, while placing the king and queen, it should be remembered that the white queen will sit on the white square & the black queen will sit on the

black square and the king will sit on the rest of the square.

Step 5)

Finally, 8 pawns of the same colour should be placed on the front line of the pieces. Then the full pieces will be set up on one side of the chessboard.

The other side of the chess board will set up its pieces in the same way only then the full board will be set up.
